Para burros é muita fruta was born by using a Portuguese expression as a conceptual anchor. Literally meaning “this is too much fruit for donkeys,” the phrase humorously suggests that some things are “too much” for those who are not expected to understand them. This project embraces that contradiction: profound thoughts presented as if they were for “donkeys,” wrapped in visual sweetness and everyday imagery. Fruit becomes the ideal vehicle for this duality, referencing the idiom “isso é muita fruta”, which jokingly marks something as excessive, overwhelming or surprisingly rich.
